# Carga de datos externos

En WaterStrategy, los usuarios tienen la flexibilidad de administrar conjuntos de datos grandes y complejos de manera más eficiente al cargar datos de archivos externos como [**Parámetro DataFrame**](https://water-strategy.gitbook.io/waterstrategy/modeling-basics/parameters/dataframe-parameter) utilizando la palabra clave «url», en lugar de incrustar todos los datos directamente en la interfaz. Los formatos de archivo incluyen:

* CSV
* Excel
* HDF5

<mark style="background-color:purple;">Nota:</mark> Entre las opciones anteriores, los archivos de Excel tienen el rendimiento más lento, mientras que los archivos HDF5 tienen el mejor rendimiento y son los preferidos para conjuntos de datos de gran tamaño.

Para cargar un archivo en WaterStrategy, navegue hasta su **proyecto** y haga clic en la pestaña Archivos. Desde allí, haga clic **Elige archivos** y selecciona el archivo que quieres subir y haz clic <img src="/files/I2QRazH8S2c2HDC44VNO" alt="" data-size="line">.

Esto añadirá el archivo al proyecto y estará disponible para su uso en todas las redes del proyecto.
